The Catholic Connect Foundation is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to make Catholic Scripture accessible and engaging through modern technology. BibleTrivia.ai is a free educational platform that provides the Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible, Church Teachings, quizzes, reading plans, and a faith-based learning community.

BibleTrivia.ai provides the following features at no cost:

The Service is provided for educational and devotional purposes. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time without prior notice.

You may use certain features of the Service without creating an account. To access quizzes, save progress across devices, and participate in the gamification system, you must create an account.

By submitting content through the Service, you grant the Foundation a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and process such content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

You retain ownership of any original content you create. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and represent that it does not violate any third party's rights or applicable laws.

The Douay-Rheims Bible text is in the public domain. The Torres Amat Spanish translation used in the Service is also in the public domain.

All other content, including but not limited to the Service's design, layout, graphics, user interface, Church Teachings commentary, chapter summaries, quiz questions, reading plans, and original written content, is the property of The Catholic Connect Foundation and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any portion of the Service without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

The Service includes a gamification system with points, levels, achievements, streaks, and leaderboards designed to encourage engagement with Scripture.

The Service offers a referral program that allows you to invite others to join BibleTrivia.ai and earn points for successful referrals.

The Service integrates with third-party services to provide functionality. These include:

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Sharing features allow you to share content to external platforms including Twitter/X, Facebook, WhatsApp, TikTok, and email. Content shared on third-party platforms is subject to those platforms' terms of service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE CATHOLIC CONNECT FOUNDATION, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE) THE SERVICE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO THE FOUNDATION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS LESS.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Foundation operates the Service as a charitable educational resource. These limitations reflect the nonprofit nature of the Service.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Catholic Connect Foundation, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with:

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

You may delete your account at any time through the Service or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

The following provisions will survive termination: Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms and, where appropriate, providing additional notice through the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Harris County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
